Vishwalaya Creations Pvt Ltd ("The Company") owns and operates website / mobile application "One Khata App" ("The App") available on Google Play Store and other similar/equivalent operating platforms/app stores and also operates a website https://www.onekhata.app ("The Website"); The App and The website together called as "The Platform";

  1. Information we collect

    We collect basic information name, mobile number and/or email, when you register yourself with the Platform or when your provider enters your data in their account.

  2. Information you provide to us

    The Platform collects additional information when you start operating on any of our services. This information includes your full name, age, address etc., Most of this information is to help us ensure you are of legal age and also helps fraud detection and provide better security to the subscribers.

    As The Platform offers paid services also, it is important to have the KYC (Know Your Customer), so we may ask for additional Identity and Address proofs.

    When you provide your mobile number, email address or your end-user's mobile number you authorize us to send OTP and other transactional messages to you/your contact. You also confirm that you are authorized to share such contact's information with us and you are responsible if such end-users raise any objections to privacy violations. When we say a contact, it may or may not belong to an existing customer of The Platform.

    You may also add other information to your account like Profile Picture / Avatar, Basic Personal details, Address for Communication / Company or Organizational details etc.,

    You may also authorize the app to auto detect the OTP sent. This is optional. Alternatively, you may enter the OTP manually.

  3. Information we automatically collect

    Usage and Log Information: We collect service-related, diagnostic and performance information. This includes information about your activity (such as how you use our Services, how you interact with others using our Services, and the like), log files, and diagnostic, crash, website, and performance logs and reports.

    Transactional Information: If you pay for our Services, we may receive information and confirmations, such as payment receipts, including from app stores or other third parties processing your payment.

    Device and Connection Information: We collect device-specific information when you install, access, or use our Services. This includes information such as hardware model, operating system information, browser information, IP address, mobile network information including phone number, and device identifiers.

Additionally, we may use cookies to remember your choices, such as your language preferences, and otherwise to customize our Services for you.

    Information Others Provide About You. We receive information other people provide us, which may include information about you. For example, Other users using our services may provide your phone number from their mobile address book (just as you may provide theirs), or they may(Mostly someone offering you a service) directly add you as an end-user in their account.

    We use all the information we have to help us operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and to market our Services.

    Our Services: We operate and provide our Services, provide customer support, improve, fix / customize our Services. To understand how people use our Services, analyze and use the information we have to evaluate and improve our Services, research, develop, test new services, features, and to conduct troubleshooting activities. We also use your information to respond to you when you contact us.

    Safety and Security: We verify accounts, activity, and to promote safety, security, on/off our Services, such as by investigating suspicious activity or violations of our Terms & Conditions, and also to ensure our Services are being used in a fair manner.

    We communicate with you about our Services, features and let you know about our Terms & Conditions, policies and other important updates. We may also market our Services.

    Any personal data collected will be used by Us to contact you via WhatsApp, Phone, SMS, Email to market our services and to deliver certain updates on services, your account or information you have requested.

    No Third-Party Banner Ads. We do not allow third-party banner ads on our app. We have no intention to introduce them, but if we ever do, we will update this policy. However, we may offer some promotional offers from our business affiliates to offer related services.

  6. Assignment, Change of Control and Transfer

    All of our rights and obligations under our Privacy Policy are freely assignable by us to any of our affiliates, in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, or by operation of law or otherwise, and we may transfer your information to any of our affiliates, successor entities, or new owner.

    If you would like to manage, change, limit, or delete your information, we allow you to do that through the following tools:

    My Profile: You can change your details settings to manage certain information available to other users.

    You can also change your name, contact details and profile picture at any time.

    Deleting Your Account: You may delete your account at any time (including if you want to revoke your consent to our use of your information) using by writing an email from your registered email address to help@onekhata.app. "Please remember that when you delete your account, it does not affect the information other users/businesses already have relating to you, such as their copy of account activity, transaction history etc.,"

    Also, for compliance, regulatory and audit purposes - we may need to retain the KYC and transaction data and these would be preserved. Once you delete your account, you are no longer active and would not recieve any notifications, updates, promotional email/messages etc.,

  8. Law And Protection

    We may collect, use, preserve, and share your information if we have a good-faith/belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond pursuant to applicable law or regulations, to legal process, or to government requests; (b) enforce our Terms & Conditions and any other applicable terms and policies, including for investigations of potential violations; (c) detect, investigate, prevent, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of our users and The Platform.

    We may amend or update our Privacy Policy. We may provide you a notice of amendments to this Privacy Policy, as appropriate, and update the "Last Modified" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of our Services confirms your acceptance of our Privacy Policy, as amended. If you do not agree to our Privacy Policy, as amended, you must stop using our Services.
